On the left bank of the Tisza, you can find the lovely botanic garden of the university. While you take a walk in its park or have a bit of rest on the shore of one of its two small lakes, you can enjoy a rich collection of flowers and trees from Hungary and around the world. You can wander among oleanders, jasmines, cactuses, or palm and cedar trees, just to name a few, or have a look at the oldest dawn redwood of Hungary. Additionally, you can also visit the greenhouse for some tropical specialties.
